“Breakout!” was a “festival of work in the city that explores the dynamic possibilities of a single question: what if the entire city were your office?” It was originally an experiment of mobile work organized for the Architectural League of New Yorks’s exhibition Toward the Sentient City.
Citilab took part in the experiment in the Barcelona metropolitan area and continued experimenting with the format afterwards. Here are some photos and audio interviews from #bocor. Some elements of the format were applied to rural settings in #breakoutbeceite, #breakoutrural and PireneLab.
